Brief History

Department of Botany was established in 1972, when our parent body, Dhamangaon Education Society decided to add Science faculty to its already existing Arts and Commerce College. Department of Botany is one of the pioneer science departments in this college (along with Zoology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics). It is matter of pride for us that several alumni of this department are in teaching, research, medical, administrative and other respectable professions.
